This is my favorite place for Mexican Food. The chili rellenos and jalapeno-stuffed shrimp are my favorite dishes. The servers here are some of the best in town, and usually deserve good tips. The Sangria Swirls (an alcoholic beverage) are delicious. But don't have more than one!
From the chips and guacamole to the enchiladas the food was great, service impeccable. However, my personal favorite was the papas. Yes, the potatoes. You don't think of potatoes as being a big thing in a Mexican restaurant, but they alone are worth the trip. When you add the rest fo the food and ambience you can't beat Abuelos. I would love the recipe.
