If you want some of the state's best lobsters, mussels, crabs, or clams on the half shell, head down to this unassuming seaside lobster shack in sleepy Noank, a few miles southwest of Mystic. Most seating is outdoors or on the dock, where the views of Noank Harbor are magnificent.
"Wear your flip-flops and a T-shirt" at this "rustic" "Connecticut classic" where "succulent" lobster rolls and other "outstanding seafood" are ordered from the counter and brought to picnic tables with a "pleasing view of the Noank shoreline" and the Mystic River; "reasonable prices" are appreciated, but "beware" the "aggressive seagulls" that try to "steal" your meal; P.S. open May–October.
Hidden just off route one. Our family enjoyed lobster roll, both hot and cold, mussels, crab cake and whole lobster. Don't forget the coleslaw and chips. Sit outside enjoy the view after picking your lobster. Drink some beer eat and relax! We will return!
Okay, they do a great job with lobster. Nothing fancy, just New England lobster style place. However, take your dinner out onto the dock! Now we're talking.
