SAVED OUR VACATION

While travelling to the Outer Banks for the 4thof July, out 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan jerked and would only go 35 miles per hour. We stopped at a nearby dealer and was told that the transmission was shot and we would have to get a new one after the Holiday.
We called a rental car agency and told them our problem, but before they rented us a car they recommended AAMCO and told us it was easy to find by the Hospital. So we limped our loaded van there. The guys at AAMCO found an electronic problem and changed the part all in about 30 minutes. We made it to the beach and back to Baltimore with no further problem. VACTATION SAVED! Thanks AAMCO and Avis (for sending us there)

DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!

Customer Relations were terrible. I was lied to by the manager. The owner and manager were rude without provocation. It was shocking how rude a person who is the first to greet customers could be.
The job was completed over two days but was an hour job as specs suggest. The work done on the vehicle was less than an hour but spread over two days because of an incorrect parts order and because the manager didn’t listen to the customer. The job was not done to specs as stated in manuals.
