It's a study in contrast.

From the exterior, Hayward's A Street Cafe, with its pink neon sign and
old lace curtains, might look like a nail salon. But before you have both feet
in the door, you'll be cordially welcomed by a man fully clad in black tie.

This is a fantastic European Restaurant for eating. Shocked that CitySearch will advertise Nation's Giant Hamburgers as an alternate. Goes to show, they sell space to the highest bidder. If you want European food, this is a great place. As far as price, I spend the same on Sushi, and even more in the city. Cost is low for the quality you are getting. They just remodeled the entire restaurant and it looks amazing! I love their food selections and the chefs and waiters are very friendly. Prices are a little high, but the food is worth it.
