Clean, quality, caring

I am a new customer of 6 months to this vet. I left my old vet of 12 years for A-Quality's experienced doctors, friendly and personal staff and clean environment. Also they are open on Sundays! I have had routine work done for my dog and surgery for dew claw removal. Each visit has been presented in full to me up front, pricing depended on my choices. I never felt a doctor made me choose vaccines or treatment I didn't want. All 3 doctors are knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. The staff can make or break a place and the personal care and listening skills the ladies here have are a welcome bonus. The prices are similar to other vets in this area. I really like the walk in ability and the privacy of scheduling to avoid coming into an office filled with sick and healthy animals, which was a common overcrowding/scheduling issue like my old vet in the area. It is calming for my dog to go, very clean, open and updated technology for more serious problems like surgery. Thank you Drs!

Not Trustworthy!

Ever hear of bait and switch. I am new to the area and wanted to get my dog spayed. I had called around to get prices. This office gave me a quote of $75 for blood work and $179-$200 for the procedure and meds. I brought my dog in the office and had the blood work drawn. $75 turned into $150 after adding in office visit charges and heartworm test and bordetella vaccine, which I was told was absolutely necessary. Later in the day I received a call stating that my total bill for the procedure would be an additional $360. When I told them that that was 200 more than I was quoted, I was told "sorry". I was lucky enough to get a hold of the Westland Humane Society who agreed to take the blood results from this vet and finish the procedure for the price i was quoted by A Quality Care. After requesting that the results be sent to them, A Quality Care offered to take off $100 and not give my dog the iv fluids, which, the day before I was told she definitely needed because she is older (5yrs old). I told them that it still was not the price that I was quoted and i would not sacrifice the quality of care I am giving my pet to save money, for myself or for them. I also found out that the bordetella vaccine was not necessary. Thank you to the Westland Humane Society, and shame on you A Quality Care!

A Quality Care Vet has provided a wonderful experience for us and our dogs. Their facility is clean, the receptionist and vets are kind, and their prices are affordable. Most importantly, however, they truly deliver on diagnostic services. We brought our parvo-positive dog to A Quality Care, and he was quickly diagnosed and treated. This included an overnight stay. They also waited for an...
