I went to this yarn store looking for yarn for a specific craft project. I don't knit, and don't know anything really about yarn, but the woman working there (the owner?) was extremely helpful in helping me figure out what I needed. This store offers a wonderful selelction of yarns and supplies. They have great customer service, the owner Lorraine is so encouraging to all new knitters. There are many samples aound the store that she actually had knitted herself that demonstrate just how wonderful a handknitted item can be. I love going there to get ideas and inspiration.

A Good Yarn is an excellent, homey yarn shop. Go there for more than supplies - you will get all the yarn talk you could want as well. A haven for knitting and crocheting fanatics. The shop has a warm, friendly atmosphere, an excellent selection of yarns and materials, and convenient business hours.
