This museum boasts a great selection of planes, but someone needs to proofread the signs that describe the exhibits. There are some glaring errors on the signage. The one we noticed first was the one on the F84 that said its range was 19000 miles when it's more like 1000 miles. After that, we started questioning everything on the signage....

We loved learning the story of the bases namesake and learning about some Air Force history. The display planes are an awesome touch that you can't see just anywhere. The museum is being renovated right now but most displays are still open. For free you can't beat this one.

Nice outside display of planes. SR-71, B-17, B-24, B-51. Fair amount of walking so pick a day when the weather is nice. Was hoping to see more inside the museum in the way of history and displays. Good visit but not up Pensecola Naval Air Station.

The outdoor aircraft displays are unique and fun to walk around. Not many museums have an SR-71, P-51, and the B-24! The indoor exhibits are well done, especially the 9/11 display when President Bush visited the base after the World Trade Center attacks. Nice gift shop.
