Food was very good however because it was an event night at the target center we didn't have access to the full menu. I wish we would have known this prior to coming in as we were excited about some things on the menu that they didn't serve on this night. Our food came out promptly and perfect. Our wonderful server didn't miss a single detail. The Shaolin Monk cocktail was absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were ample and and the dishes are all very affordable. I will certainly be going back.

Had a reservation before the Eric Church concert. It was busy, which is to be expected, we Waited for 30 min before someone even greeted us (after flagging down 3 different people). Meanwhile, the four tables around were given food, drink refills, and their tabs. Once the drinks and food were delivered to us, they were great. Attentiveness during busy times is not 508's strong point.

508 took over the spot vacated by the old Old Chicago on First Avenue, classing up the interior and keeping the large beer selection. And just like the other downtown spot, on the weekends 508 fills up its basement with club goers downing drinks and dancing. Stop in for their happy hour where you can try several different beers for cheap.
