This used to be one of my favorite restaurants because they always used to use quality ingredients and had creative menus. Not so anymore. They are now using premade, disgusting sauces and the taste and quality has gone way downhill. It is now not even the level of Macaroni Grill (another place that now uses premade, canned sauces). Very disappointing and I will not be returning.
I agree with an earlier review. 240 Union prices and quality do not match up. The last several dining experiences have brought brown lettuce, flavors in various dishes not working together, flavors in dishes that just are not the quality of other restaurants in this same price category. I don't begrudge their prices when the quality of food is equal. Excellent service, lovely restaurant, food...

I have had dinner at this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. The chef offers creative specials and the food is prepared well. I ordered the walleye special on my last visit and it was very good. The service is not always fantastic it depends on who is working your table.
