DO NOT USE WORLDWIDE PEST CONTROL AS THEY ARE NOT BONDED AGAINST CRIME. I found out the hard-way, that they do not have insurance against any type of crime. Therefore if one of their employees commits a crime against you, you will have to fight against them directly, with no assurance that they will resolve it. I had a technician visit my apartment who stole $92 from my wallet. I filed a police report and took it in to the manager Roman “Fernando” Manzano (210-656-3244) who told me that he would file a claim for compensation with their insurance (FIRST LIE). I called in the following weeks and left 2 voicemails for him but received no call backs. Over a month later, I went in on my day off and confronted him asking him why I had not heard from anyone. He told me the process takes time and he did not have the phone number for the insurance company (SECOND LIE), after some waiting he gave me a contact number for the insurance company. I went outside and called the insurance agent (JACOB-WEBER INSURANCE 361-293-3557) and they told me that they did not have a file for a claim. He then spoke to me and took my contact information again, and told me that he would speak to his boss and that he would try to get a check for the $92, (THIRD LIE) after 30 minutes, he told me that I would hear from their attorney. I left and called back the insurance company, and they told me that they were not bonded against Crime, so I would need to deal with Worldwide directly to recoup my losses.
I don’t know how cheap their attorney is, but I plan on getting him paid at least a
$92 fee.
Moral of the story, do not do business with Worldwide Pest control as they are not only THIEVES, but also LIARS. Their business model and employee screening is seriously flawed. One last thing, while I was sitting in the waiting area I overheard one of the office girls say that all they do for roach control is set out traps, not spray. So if you do have roaches, go to Wal-Mart and save yourself the aggravation of dealing with these pests.
I used World Wide Pest Control for a year and got great service from the first two technicians one of which was Jose Grimaldo.
Jose Grimaldo showed professionalism as well as tact.
He was punctual and had extensive knowledge of his profession.
I regretfully canceled my service when we recieved a different technician. The third technician gave off a rude vibe and showed no compassion for his trade.
Later on we had a flea problem.
