My 12 year old daughter and I were visiting from out of town and read great reviews about Sushi Zushi. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was very busy the night we went but they made accommodations for almost every party that came through the door. The food was amazing and my daughter loved that they had "fancy" non-alcoholic drinks for her. I would highly recommend making a reservation...
Visited it again during our sequel visit to San Antonio, proved good value, good food, good sake. Next time we will come back!
Looking for some sushi not on the river walk. Found this online and sushi was very good. Excellent selection and solid service. Sashimi was excellent!
Had two rolls. One was ok but a little soggy and flavorless and the other was made with tuna coated in pepper. The pepper was overpowering and could not be scraped off. The was no other discernible flavor and I couldn't eat more than a couple of pieces. Huge menu and perhaps other items were better.
Our server (unfortunately, I don't remember his name) was excellent; friendly and attentive. In my opinion, the sushi was ok, not bad but not great. Since it's the only sushi place (that I found) close to the River Walk, I would return
