Stranded

New to the Boston area, our car simply stopped running in front of their garage. We pulled in, talked to them, said a quick prayer, and left it for service. It needed a major part so we had to wait two days, but they fixed it completely, drove us to our hotel, picked us up when it was ready. Fraudulent Advertising

Among other things, this is a service station in Somerville, MA. "Desantis Pearl Street Aut[truncated]" is the vendor name that appeared on my credit card statement. From my experience, it would appear that this station thrives on false advertising. When I stopped there, the station was advertising only one set of gasoline prices without any note, asterisk, or other annotation on its sign. The...

If the last comment is correct, then I suppose that my complaint may be mostly about the station's practice on a particular day when the credit card price was not posted.  I am quite certain that there was no indication of different prices on the large sign by the road when I was there.

I have seen this before at other stations here but it is posted. That being said it is posted on the large sign by the road in the same color as the background so you have to look really close.
