Legend has it that two Scots living in Hong Kong founded the original Mad Dogs British Pub in 1984. A couple of years later they opened another on the Chinese mainland....

Average service from an inattentive waiter. Beers had no heads n them and just looked flat in the glass.
Nachos were pretty good though.

Awesome fish & chips!
It's a party vibe at this joint. Sort of a "Hooters" goes to London feel. Great beer selection, prompt service and the food really is spot on.

Stopped in here by myself when I needed something to eat and was wandering around the river walk on my last night in San Antonio. The burger was good and greasy. Tasty, but didn't feel very healthy when I was finished! Lots of good beer...

Less than normal quality bar fare with a British spin! But hey, you are on the riverwalk. Would I make a trip just for this location- no. But if I’m here already- sure, get a beer and a snack!
