Although I live in Jacksonville, FL now (semi-barren for Korean), I am a Chicago native, which has many great Korean places. I have also done considerable travel in large cities that had Korean. My FIRST DATE with my bride was in a Korean place in Louisville, KY. Apparently, I past her most important test by taking her to said restaurant...

Small place run by husband and wife. Wife is Korean and does all the cooking. lack of ambiance and so-so service didn't bother me much as I go to a place for the food, first and foremost. Overall, food is not bad but nothing that impressed me. the only notable exception was the seafood pancake - that was pretty good....

I find it interesting the negative comments made about the foods. It only shows the reviewers ignorance of the cuisine. (Ignorance meaning only a lack of knowledge not a put down.) Just because something doesn't "please your personal tastes doesn't mean that it isn't an EXCELLENT authentic dish. Personally, I like the dishes here because of the authenticity. I judge...
