The BookCellar is a non-profit bookstore run by the Friends of the San Antonio Public Library. We are in the basement of the Central Library. We sell mostly used books and used media...CD's, DVD's and audio books. Most of our materials are $1 or less. All proceeds benefit the San Antonio Public Library system.

We accept cash, checks and have started accepting credit cards.

The books in the Book Cellar may be well-worn library books, but there is no better place to find a large, inexpensive selection of reference and fiction books. How inexpensive? Most hardbound books are a dollar. Paperbacks range from a quarter to fifty cents. Even the premium books are reasonably priced. The store also stocks magazines, comics, videos and records, all at very low prices. All...
