First Baptist Church of Jacksonville established in 1838 is the third oldest church in Jacksonville. The church was reconstructed in 1903, after a major fire gutted the core structure of the building. The church community has grown tremendously since its inception. Sunday Worship and Sunday School are popular with the faithfuls. The church also houses a library and bookstore.

What a pleasant surprise. This store had the books I'd hoped to find, plus so much more. And the prices were discounted! For example, we normally pay $25 for a set of Jonathan Park CDs.
