I had my wife's motor replaced due to a busted timing belt in 2013. Her car was ready in a couple of days. On the pick up date I noticed a funky smell in car, I thought they just had the windows down & it previously rained the day before. Turned out it was freon smell. The heater didn't work " which there was no problem with it before dropping it off". I guess they were ruff on the lines she...

no bull sales pitch,courteous, friendly and straight to the point.work done right on time,veh was left clean. motor runs good and cost was exact to estimate.place not impressive but work appears to have been well done.hope not to have to check on warrenty.would not hesitate to return.

Appex overall is a good business for engine replacement, since they cover quite a few additionl parts included with the service (water pump, hoses, serpetine belt, thermostat, and housing, etc) However, the follow through was the problem afterwards. My vehicle initially had overheatd due to a cracked radiator and resulted in a blown head gasket. This of course lead me to replacing the engine...
